Hi, is there a way how to import mails to Thunderbird from Outlook portable? Using Outlook portable seems to be a problem because whem I try Import in Tools menu in Thunderbirs I get "There is no email program associated to perform the requested action" message, IMHO because the portable version is not in all registers.

Have you guys ever got in touch with that?

A late comment (you may deduce by the date). My Outlook pst was corrupt enough I couldn't export to csv. But I *could* install Tbird and import from Outlook.

Hadn't used Tbird since R2, and didn't realize its intelligence. I'll be able to use its IMAP abilities to shove things on up to gmail.

This works perfectly for the received mails. But for the sent mails it just messes up in the gmail. When I am uploading to my gmail, in my thunderbird view it shows the recipient perfectly but in the gmail/sent mail it shows the recipient as "To:Me". Is there a way around this?

Yes, you can do it all from Outlook by connecting to your Gmail account from Outlook using IMAP. I have mine set up that way with multiple Gmail accounts.

That is also a much easier way to move multiple emails out of the Inbox and into another label/folder on your Gmail account.
