Etymotic HF5 In-Ear Earphones Review

Tech Blog - I just purchase a new in-ear earphones after my old one an Etymotic ER6i earphones cable came loose after 6 years of use, I decided to go with Etymotic HF5 after looking around for several other in-ear earphones including Sleek Audio SA6 and Ultimate Ears, on of the factor for me on choosing Etymotic is due to past experience with the product which impressed the durability of the build the sound quality, anyway here is a short review of the Etymotic HF5.

Packaging: the Etymotic HF5 is packed very well and compact very practical as you can see below.

Build and comfort: The build quality of the HF5 I find it very good, the HF% is made of plastic that is painted like metal, the cord is much thicker than the Etymotic ER6i as can be seen below, the flanges are very surprisingly comfortable, comfortable enough to sleep.

Sound: The sound quality of Etymotic HF5 is very accurate and very good, there is more bass here compared to the Etymotic ER6i, the instrument separation is amazing, the sound isolation is fantastic with this on you will not hear anything around you, In my opinion this is the best and most accurate in-ear earphones on this price range, however this is not an earphone for people that wants a lot of bass.

Accessories: the Etymotic HF5 comes with 3 pair fo flanges, one extra filter, a pouch to put everything in and a small tool for replacing the filter.

In conclusion I highly recommend the Etymotic HF5, I bought mine at Amazon for $121 not including the shipping.

Microsoft Security Essentials Review | Free Antivirus

Tech Blog - Microsoft Security Essentials is a free downloadable antivirus and antispyware from Microsoft that was release last year, features of the Microsoft Security Essential are quick scan, full scan, realtime scanning, auto updates, customized action, customized scan, and scheduled scan, I found the Microsoft Security Essentials to be light and fast, what surprises me the most is that it runs quietly in the background as most antivirus should do, there doesn't seems to be any bloat on the software unlike most of the free antivirus out there, it doesn't try to be what it is not, the instalation f the Microsoft Security Essential fast and easy, configuration and customization is easy to understand, there are very good documentation on the Microsoft Security Essentials website if you need support, I my opinion Microsoft Security Essentials is better than most free antivirus out there such as AVG which doesn't actually get rid of your virus unles you pay for it and it bloated which makes your system slow, if Microsoft Security Essentials is installed and partnered with a good firewall like Agnitum Outpost which is also available free, I think you are very well protected, do note however during installation of the Microsoft Security Essentials it does check for Validity of your Windows installation meaning if your running a bootleg/pirated copy of Windows your out of luck you can refer to the images below regarding the validation screen, Microsoft Security Essentials is available for Windows Vista and Windows 7 32/64 bit users, as well as Windows XP 32bit users, You can get it here

Bootleg Apple iPhone 3g Clone | China Made Phones | Review

Tech Blog - Today out of curiosity I just bought a bootleg iPhone this thing is amazing, when I say amazing I meant amazingly bad but you have to give it to the pirate, you won't be able to distinguish the box from original and fake take a look at it, the quality of the packaging is exactly just like the real thing with all the markings.

The package came with charger that resembes the Apple iPhone charger as well as bunch of other accessories that I'm not sure what it is the use for.

Picture of the phone it self it came with a protector sleeve, which also feel classy however my bootleg iPhone came with a little chip on the chrome paint that I didn't notice immediately.

This thing is unbelievably not responsive, I even used all my finger to do swiping motion and it still refuses to move to the next screen, the apps are slow and very very unresponsive I suppose that is caused by the crappy touchscreen, there is no fluidity in this phone, BTW i almost broke my sim into to trying to put in my sim card, the phone looks like the real thing if you just take a quick glance and it might even convince some people that has never seen the real one.

In conclusion this thing is a piece of crap, it look good specially in the box, you can't compare this iPhone clone to the real thing you can't even compare this garbage to a cheap Nokia phone anyway this thing cause me 4000php thats about 100 dollars. :)

Wireless Causing Windows XP Bluscreen BSOD | IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL | Fix

bsodTech Blog - Recently I have given away an old laptop that works perfectly I know this because I still used it hours before I gave it away, anyway after few days the person who receive the laptop gave me a call and is telling me that enabling the wireless card on the laptop gives out the bluescreen of death (BSOD) error on Windows XP, (see exact error below) the problem doesn't make sense at first as I have been using the laptop hours before I gave it to him and I'm connected to my network wirelessly, I'm pretty sure that everything is working, anyway as I help him troubleshoot the problem we uninstalled the drivers that are related to networking and reinstall the drivera, disabled related services, I wasn't able to solve the problem until he told me that he bought a new Wireless B/G/N router so I told him to go into the router using a LAN cable and make sure to only enable B/G, after doing so the laptop connected to the router and we didn't see the BSOD screen again, I don't know why the N signal would cause a BSOD IRQ error, I suppose I should look for driver update for the card but still I find it weird anyway I hope this is will be helpfull to people that will encounter this problem in the future :)
